Not my fave out of the Mass Effect comics so far, but not the worst one either.
Spacedad Anderson also looks weirdly young in some panels, while looking slightly more "realistic" in others. The padding this adds to the overarching story of the Mass Effect Trilogy is minimal, but it It seems that the artists of the Mass Effect comic books have a hard time rendering the various beloved NPCs in such a way that they are recognizable beyond their trademarks - in this case, Vega's muscles and tattoos. #Mac walters rascist movie
It's also set pretty much after the events in the "Mass Effect Paragon Lost" movie, so I'd recommend anyone to watch that movie before reading this comic, otherwise you'll end up kinda confused as to why James Vega acts the way he acts at the beginning.more It's set after the events that happened in Mass Effect 2's DLC "The Arrival", in which Commander Shepard had to make a difficult decision regarding a particular solar system (not going to spoil it xP). Sure, it doesn't fill any kind of blanks in James Vega's background storyand it doesn't really develop his character a lot but it was entertaining enough for me and, most importantly, it showed how he came to know Shepard and how he first met him/her.
